Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Varnish: Review

I first used the Bourjois Nail Polish in shade '24' back in the Summer when I went to the Illamasqua Dystopia event. The dark shade with a hint of green shimmer was perfect for the dark theme of the event. At the time I also made a mental not that the colour would be perfect for halloween so wanted to save the post till now.

The brush design of the Bourjois 1 Seconde nail polishes is really ingenious and makes me wonder why more companies dont design thier brushes like that as it makes application really fast, smoothe and straightforward.

The colour is so perfect for this time of year, on first glance it looks like a simple dark grey/black shade but when you look closely it is packed with multi-shimmer particles in rich emerald green, with a hint of purple to keep the colour warm. The formula is highly pigmented enough that only one coat looks good, without ending up too thick. But for such a dark colour I found that two coats were better, to make sure the colour was really intense.

I reckon if I was a witch I would wear this colour all year round.
