I was recently sent some moisturisers by Jergens to test out, and now that I have been using one of the tubes for a full two weeks I thought I would share my musings.
The two latest additions to the Jergens family are the Cocoa Butter and Total Nourishment versions, and I have been giving the Total Nourishment one a road test. The texture of this cream is lovely and thick, but not quite as thick as a body butter. To look at a blob on your hand, it has a semi matte, almost waxy looking sheen - although there is nothing waxy about it when you apply.
The cream really soaks in straight away and just does as it says on the tube. I have been using this post-shower in the morning and it really does leave skin feeling soft and smooth all day long - or 'totally nourished', even...
I know, pretty cheesy - but it's true. I even found that my skin felt 'just moisturised' at the end of the day. Plus, it smells really good - hard to describe, but I would describe it as a fresh, fruitiness. Sweet, but not overwhelmingly so.
Priced at £4.99 for 200ml it's no wonder that Jergens is a huge seller in America. I would happily buy this again.
