The other day I was having a bit of a browse around Primark (for those that don't have Primark, it's basically a really budget fashion shop) and I spotted the make-up section. Normally I wouldn't look twice at this, with some sort of bad association between super budget make-up and what sort of budget/cheap ingredients are they making them from.
The Packaging, not too cheap looking - check.
But for some reason I stopped when one product caught my attention - 'The Happy Couple' - duo bronzer and blusher. Immediately it reminded me of the Benefit '10' blush/bronzer duo so I had to reach out and have a play. I expected un-pigmented chalky and gritty powder but what I got seriously impressed me. The colour, especially the pink is really pretty - with a subtle shimmer, not chunky glitter. The powder was smooth and silky and easily blendable and really well pigmented. The bronzer is more on the golden side, so might work better as a highlight rather than all over bronzer, but still - very smooth, easy to blend and a pretty colour. Even the brush was impressively soft - although I still chose to use one of the other brushes in my collection instead.
The powder, silky smooth - check.
Yep, that's right - I bought, like and would recommend a piece of make-up from Primark.
Impressive pigmentation (no flash) - check.
Have you tried any of the make-up bits from Primarni? What do you think?
The Happy Couple cost me a budget-tastic £2.50.
