The Santuary, Covent Garden launch a revamped skincare range
I have just arrived home after my first ever visit to the infamous Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden. I have never been to the spa and have little experience of using the skin care range that they sell in Boots (I have tried one cleanser that I bought with the help of one of those £5 till spits a while ago, it was nice but didn't blow me away) but after tonight's event I really wanted to post something.
I don't know what it was, but I felt totally intoxicated with the passion that everyone behind The Sanctuary just oozes for the whole brand experience. There are so many companies out there that claim the whole 'for real women' label - but this is one that just seems to be true. It really seems that they honestly care what women (real women, not wannabe 'sex and the city' type of women) want from both skin care and a spa experience. They are all women working towards a single goal of feeling good about ourselves and getting results.
Everyone I met who was representing the brand seems to absolutely love it - I was treated to a facial whilst I was there and my therapist Emelie W. (who has the MOST PERFECT skin I have ever seen - if there is anything more encouraging than a spa therapist with enviably lovely skin then I want to hear about it) did a great job, was friendly and just the right level of chatty, was already very knowledgeable about the new products being released. She knew about ingredients - not just the claims on the bottle. I was impressed.
Anyway, I'm afraid this is a bit of a general waffle because I feel enthused by The Sanctuary's positive attitude but I wanted to share it. Oh, and be warned, they are poised and ready to spring on Twitter. So expect to see them tweeting soon!
Oh and before I forget - the products, I'm not going to go into them all in detail now but the absolute standout concept for me is the 'facial in a box'. The easy-peasy, step-by-step at home guide to a pampering facial in the same style (and using the same products) as The Sanctuary uses in it's many treatment rooms. Available in three versions catering to different skin needs (radiance, deep cleansing and anti-ageing) there is something for everyone (I'll have a bit of all three please!). The boxes are set to be priced £16, which in my opinion is an absolute bargain. Not that I have tried them, but based on the concept I think they are a genius idea!
Anyway, that's it for my positive babble about The Sanctuary. Tell me if you have either been to the spa or tried any products - would love to hear others opinions.
**The Small Print**
The facial was provided as part of an event and was free of charge. Opinions are honest and impartial as always.
