OPI Mermaid's Tears: NOTD

Here's a little NOTD from a recent Lena White order I made when they had a sale on some OPI colours - I think each bottle was about £5, a lot cheaper than they normally are. So I picked up Mermaid's Tears, It's My Year and Stranger Tides.

First up for a NOTD is Mermaid's Tears:


I love how it's a slightly subdued turquoise - a slightly more toned down pastel/bright. It applied really nicely, two coats and dried quick enough that I painted my nails about an hour before bed and didn't wake up with sheet imprints on the nails (which with some polishes manages to happen even a couple of hours after painting).

It's also lasted really well, no chipping - just a small amount of tip wear so I did my recent 'manicure lengthening' trick of sticking a glitter coat over the top so the tip wear doesn't show... a couple more days wear before removing and repainting (plus stops me getting bored of the colour).
