Origins Faux Glow is a slightly shimmering gel, that contains DHA to get the skin to develop a nice, natural and subtle tan. I know this because first time I tried it was a small drop on the back of my hand - and the colour that developed was nice and subtle, and although it´s a wear off product, it didn't look at all unnatural.
The colour is lovely and the minty scent is refreshing - and different for a tanning product. There´s no hint of the normal tan smell at all! I love it - well worth checking out if you want a mixture of instant (because it´s tinted) and lasting (because it contains DHA) colour for the face.
PR sample.

The colour in the bottle is beautiful :) Great review, i am currently in the search for the perfect subtle fake tanner, so i might just have to give this a go :)

This looks gorgeous! I used a St Moriz one once which looks quite similar in product. But this one looks even better! xx

This sounds really worth a try, the fact that it doesn't smell like usual tan has sold it for me xo
ReplyDeleteI didn't know origins created tanning products, either! This product sounds really neat-especially the mint scent. I don't think I have ever encountered a tanner that has a scent of the sort. I am actually looking for a facial tanner, since I am scared to use the one I have, on my face-seeing as it is intended for use just on the body. I don't want any breakouts and such.
ReplyDeleteOoh, it looks so dark in the bottle, I think I would be scared to try lol.

I had no idea Origins made tanning products! I recently wrote a review on Too Faced: Tanning Bed in a Tube.

Very curious to check this product out now! Love the packaging and I've never tried a self-tanner with that scent!
I'm really enjoying your blog, by the way! :)
