Lancome Hypnose Star Mascara

Ladies (and Gentlemen?) I'd like to introduce you to my newest favourite mascara... courtesy of Lancome. And no, it's not *just* because it has glittery packaging (although that does help).

This is the new Hypnose Star mascara - the one with Betty Boop in the ads (she's awesome - and makes me want to watch Who Framed Rodger Rabbit?)

The wand is an unusual shape, like a flat triangle - with a narrow-to-wide brush that's then flat - I find this helps to build the product, but then the wider sections are good for combing through the lashes to prevent too much build up. With the end result being a pretty dramatic volume and length effect.

I am really impressed with this mascara - the varied width of the brush makes it really easy to work with and really get into the corers to ensure all lashes are coats and the overall result is a happy balance of natural and dramatic. Plus, did I mention is has a sparkly tube?!
