Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Swatches

A couple of weeks ago I was pleasantly surprised by a bouquet of gorgeous flowers and the mysterious note with just the #JBK... Then a few days later a bag of tasty Hotel Chocolate goodies arrives...and I was feeling very spoilt and more than a little curious as to what this #JBK meant, as a twitter search just revealed a few girls who had received the same packages... Until one day and a black box with #JBK arrived, filled with these Revlon Just Been Kissed goodies!

I have been really excited to try these since they launched over here, so to have a box with all the shades land on my doorstep was very exciting, and since then I have been working my way through, testing the different shades and now have swatches to share with you.

The shades are (in order of light to dark):

Overall I surprised myself, with my favourite (and most used shade so far) is Lovesick - the bright pink, when I thought Honey or Darling would be my number ones. I actually also really liked Rendezvous for a bright pop of Summery colour.

One of the things about these shades that I love is that they look different on different people - I had a quick google to see what other pics are it out there and they do look brighter or darker on other peoples skin tones. I think is partly down to differently pigmented lips and partly down to how you can layer and build up the shades to create a darker effect.

Overall, I LOVE these - perfect balance between pigment and moisture, colour than lasts but can be whatever level of brightness you want. If you don't have one of these then I definitely recommend checking them out - if you like lippie then the brights might be for you, if you're not a lipstick wearer then Honey, or any of the paler shades might be your pick! Apparently Honey has been one of the bigger sellers - have heard rumours of it being sold out?!

Also, there's a gorgeous peachy shade that's not available in the UK called Charm that I'm extremely tempted to do a little eBay purchase of. Why this one wasn't launched over here...I don't know?!
