Maybe I'm just getting old, or giving in to the dark and damp weather and wanting to hibernate - but at the moment all I want to do in the evening is get cosy and enjoy some pampering. There's nothing I love more than to come in from the cold, light a candle, run a bubble bath and chill out.
This post is a few of my current at-home pampering treats for the ultimate chill out evening...
The products I've been locking myself away in the bathroom with are:
No7 Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask - After a good double cleanse and perhaps and exfoliation, if I'm feeling extra in-need of pampering! The I pop this on because I love how I can just leave it to soak in for a proper hydrating treat. Just what my already dull winter skin needs!
Green & Spring Relaxing Bath & Shower Gel* - Love this range, the packaging is stunning and it smells fantastic. Definitely worth checking out for Christmas gifts and pretty stocking fillers! This is the relaxing version, perfect to get rid of the stress of the day.
Neom Harmonise Candle* - I am quite honestly OBSESSED with gorgeous candles at the moment. As I type I have at least four burning but my current favourite for filling the whole flat with a gorgeous aroma has to be Neom. Currently using Neom Harmonise, which has a strong aroma that hits you before it even comes out of the box. This one is Pine, Cedarwood and Eucalyptus... so the perfect autumn scent - like a crisp Autumn day.
FCUK Polished - This has been a favourite of mine for years, it's an oil based scrub that shifts dead skin cells but leaves skin totally soft and lovely. It smells SO GOOD. Literally, can't get enough of this scent. But little tip - don't use pre-tanning, the oil with mean your tan will develop streaks.
Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter - Another long standing favourite for me, just the perfect balance between a thick body butter and a lighter lotion. It absorbs in leaving skin feeling fantastic and smelling good enough to eat.
Kindle - Of course a bubble bath isn't the same without some reading materials... I'm currently trying to get into Confessions of an Essex Girl... but not sure it's for me. As much as I love a bit of trash, this is a bit *too* trashy for my reading tastes. So any good book suggestions welcome - I like anything on the trashy side, or crime books!
You can expect to probably see a few more of these posts over the coming, colder months as pampering will be a big feature in my life! What are your secrets for your ultimate pampering routine?
