Currently Loving: WEN Cleansing Conditioner

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first tried a sample of WEN Cleansing Conditioner  when it arrived in one of my beauty boxes a couple of months ago. But I was curious so gave it a go - and immediately loved it.

It has all the convenience benefits of the old-school shampoo/conditioner 2 in 1 product but it's sort of in reverse...so instead of being more shampoo, less conditioner it's the other way around. It feels just like conditioner, and at first I was worried my hair might not feel clean - but it really does. I find using this has an amazing conditioning feeling, but rinses clean and leaves hair feeling squeaky clean, and totally smooth. It also feels fantastic for my scalp, which is always a winner in my eyes.

I've been trying out the Lavender and Cucumber Aloe versions and really like them both at different times and for different reasons. The Lavender smells amazing and I love this for a nighttime bath/hair wash routine - the Lavender is just perfect to relaxing before sleep time. The Cucumber Aloe is refreshing and leaves hair and scalp feeling almost tingly clean - so perfect for a wake up call in the morning.

I've also found that my hair stays feeling cleaner for longer with these - I can't explain why, perhaps my hair and scalp are more balanced so my scalp produces less oil and leaves roots feeling fresher???? Who knows, all I know is I love the results of using these!

At £18.65 (currently reduced from £24.95) it's not really cheap but these are seriously massive and will last for ages - so good value for money.

Would you be tempted to give a Cleansing Conditioner a go?

PR sample.

  1. I tried the mint version and it just didn't feel like it worked for my hair but I only had a sample size so couldn't really get more than a week's use out of it. The Lavender one sounds really nice though, I love Lavender scents so if I do purchase this then it'll definitely be that one xx

  2. I have just had my hair colour changed from dark blonde to red and am having issue with colour fade but would love to try this. Do you think it would be safe for me to use without it stripping the colour? I take it that it is SLS free?

    1. Yup, sold free so I think it would be ideal for protecting hair colour!
