I have a few bits from the core and holiday collections to show you, I'm going to start with the core items (the 'Essentials') and dedicate a whole separate post to the holiday palette - it deserves it. But let's take a look at two items from the Essentials below - a 'Pretty Bronze Illuminating Powder' and Multi Colour for lips and cheeks.
The Illuminating Bronzing Powder is one of the prettiest I've ever seen - so finely milled, the colour is soft and flattering and the shimmer is so fine that it really delivers a glow rather than sparkle. The colour is lovely, and perfect for paler skins. It really delivers the sort of healthy looking radiant glow that's perfect even in colder months when skin is paler as it looks healthy rather than bronzed.
I also can't believe I've gotten this far without mention of the packaging - isn't it stunning?! All the luxury and golden look of the Estee Lauder brand, but toned down to a softer gold with the textured finished on the top of the palettes to make it feel really high end. Plus the pale pink boxes and soft velvet pouches - makes each item feel very special.
Next up is the Multi Colour for Lips and Cheeks...
Again, the packaging is stunning. The colour is the ideal neutral - at first I felt it might be a little too on the brown side for me to use on my cheeks but I can see how a few gentle dabs of this would look lovely. Overall, I do prefer as a lip colour for myself but it definitely can work both ways. It leaves a very pretty sheen on the lips or cheeks, and feels moisturising on lips - not at all drying.
In addition to these two beauties - the Essentials range also includes a compact 'Fresh Skin' foundation that I have heard is amazing, a Rose Lip Conditioner, plus a pretty make-up bag, brushes set and hand cream.
The Holiday collection, that you can see a post on very soon is where you find more colour - with 'the mini' lipsticks, compact lip gloss and the beautiful palette.
What do you think of the Aerin brand from this look? Personally, I love the whole feel of the brand - the ideal of gorgeously glowing healthy skin being at the core of the overall look. And did I mention the packaging?! I know.. I'm repeating myself - but look at it! So pretty!

My grandmother got me hooked on the beauty of Estee's packaging, I'm so happy to see that Aerin has kept the traditional gold, and made it something brand new! I have high hopes for the brand!
