The German fragrance, No. 4711 is a classic - but this year it's been given a twist with the new NouvEAU Cologne version. With a whole range of bath and body products to go with the fragrance - including deodorant, body spray, shower gel and body lotion you can fit any budget and make this a bigger gift or a stocking filler.

The main reason I wanted to include this as a gift idea is that the fragrance is quite a 'safe' one, it's light and refreshing - but not one that's likely to go down like a ton of bricks with anyone. Knowing how subjective something like fragrance is, it's one that can be risky to buy for someone else not knowing if they might like it or not. The top notes on this are Lychee, Blackcurrant and Yuzu Fruit (whatever that is...) and they combine to make something refreshing and a little sweet - but not in your face.

One of the reasons I think this has wide appeal is because I noticed the shower gel was vanishing very quickly...because the boyfriend has been using it and loving the fragrance! For some reason it really appeals to him. It also went down with him Mum, who I gave my bottle of the Cologne to after she said how much she liked it.
