Currently Loving: Skincare Goodies

Following on from my recent 'Cleansing favourites' post I thought it would be nice to do a little round up of other skincare goodies I've been loving recently. When it comes to skincare I mostly try to keep it consistent for as long as possible (currently trying to use products up before my beauty-junkie curiosity gets the better of me and makes me want to switch to something else...) so these have been in the routine for over a month - with the exception of Kiehls, which has been a more recent addition from a few weeks ago.

So I'll start on the left:

Rituals Eye Defence Eye Lotion* - A creamy, but light eye cream. Nice and hydrating but not too heavy - As well as using day and night as an eye cream I've taken to using this to pat lightly around the eye area after I've finished my make-up to prevent the eye area from getting drier as the day goes on.

Kiehls Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate* - The most recent addition, this is a tough one to describe as when I apply it almost doesn't feel like skincare but more like a smoothing foundation. It literally melts into skin and leaves it feeling velvety smooth. It's a bit too early to say on the longer term line reducing front, but it does feel amazing to use.

Antipodes Joyous Protein Rich Night Replenish Serum - Gorgeous night serum if I feel my skin needs a boost. This is the one I'll pat on after doing a pampering at home facial type thing. Leaves skin feeling wonderful in the morning - fresh, moisturised and plumped up.

Now for a whole lot of Origins good stuff...

Origins High Potency Night-a-mins* - this is my current go-to night cream. Feels lovely and light to use, absorbs in and doesn't leave skin feeling like there's any residue or anything. A general all round great product - especially if you like the more gel-like textures as I do.

Origins Make a Difference Plus+ Rejuvinating Moisturiser* - my current day cream of choice. Another one that's really moisturising, whilst also being fresh and light feeling to use. Also smells good! My only issue is that I wish it had SPF in it as know I should be using something with SPF for daytime.

Origins Make a Difference Plus+ Rejuvenating Treatment* - This is one I use as an 'extra' boost if I want something a little more hydrating or like my skin needs a boost - I use along side the Rejuvenating Moisturiser or sometimes over night too. This is a fab light gel product that soaks in and leaves skin immediately refreshed and lovely. Probably my favourite of the three Origins products, although it's tough to call as the brand can pretty much do no wrong in my eyes at the moment!

Last but by no means least I have...

Ahava Time to Hydrate Gentle Eye Cream* - I mentioned this before in my eye favourites post at the end of last year. It's a really great 'starter' eye cream as it is so light and gentle. If you're say early/mid 20's and starting to think you need something for the eye area then really recommend this. So light it's almost like a gel - really refreshing to use in the morning.

  1. Good skin care products! I have an eye lotion from Rituals - not the same one - but I'm really happy with it! I was suprised about how good it was! I'd really love to try something from Kiehl's and Origins. Kiehl's is available in my country - so what am I waiting for haha - but Origins... don't think so :(

  10. I love Origins. I have used Night A Mins for two years and find it the best cream for me. I also love their serum, it's pretty great and I use their A Perfect World SPF 25 during the day.

Lately I have added The Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden Therapist's Oil with the Night A Mins and I wake up with the softest skin.
