Something a little different for the blog today... something food related! Something I haven't talked about all that regularly on here are things related to my life - I tend to stick more to the beauty obsessed side of my life but in the spirit of THIS post, here's something a bit different.



This post covers two of my favourite things (two that aren't beauty related) - Sunday lunch and good friends! I thought this might make a nice post to share as I know I'm always on the hunt for new food destinations so thought others may find it useful. Plus The Winchester does a great 2 for 1 offer for Sunday roasts and it's right in the heart of Angel... so if you're looking for a good Sunday lunch that's also a bargain. This is your place!



This was a pretty special Sunday lunch actually - one of my best friends, LW has been away in Cambodia and then doing some travelling around New Zealand since September last year, so this was a celebration for her coming home, plus it was a double engagement celebration! So yep, pretty exciting afternoon for all, so we couldn't resist having some bubbles to go with our roast dinners (and pudding)!




One thing I should add here, is whilst the roast lunches (various options...Chicken, Beef, Lamb, Veggie...) are good, it's the puddings that were the real stars of the show... Mmm...sticky toffee pudding with custard.... (or crumble, or cheese cake...) YUM!



If you're looking for somewhere cosy and quirky with good food to get a group of friends together for a good old Sunday feast - then The Winchester in N1 is fab. Do suggest you book in advance if there's a few of you though!
