Nail week day 4: OPI Tickle My France-y

Day four of nail week and I bring you the wonder of OPI Tickle My France-y. I’m going to go out on a limb and be a bad beauty blogger by stating that this is my personal favorite of the week. I love the pale lilac shade that manages to be a bit creamy and a bit sheer at the same time – you can get the finish that suits you by layering more or less coats. Personally, I like it quite sheer and two coats is the most I would ever use with this. The picture above is two coats, over a base.

The reason I like this colour is that it has that ‘polished’ look that I constantly strive (and fail) to achieve. One of these days I swear I will manage it though.
When I first saw the OPI brush I wasn’t convinced it would apply well – it seemed awfully long and thin, but when I used it I was impressed. It applies really smoothly, easily and in just a couple of strokes, the whole nail is covered – which I didn’t expect from such a fine brush.
This polish was one of two that I purchased from Jolie Beauty on ebay, before they finished (temporarily, I hope) trading. The other colour was Over the Taupe, which I am not planning on including in ‘nail week’ but may mention on a post in the future – although will probably shy away from nail-related posts for a while as not sure they are going down so well!
So what do you think of this colour? Does it tickle your France-y…. ? (I am cringing at how cheesy that is, but couldn’t resist). Do let me know what you think!

I quite like this, although I don’t have it in my collection. It’s a subtle colour which looks real good. Me likes.
