Bella Pierre Blusher ‘Desert Rose’

A pretty little blush to share from Bella Pierre Cosmetics for this week’s Swatch Sunday post. Bella Pierre Cosmetics is a range of mineral based cosmetics that to be honest I hadn’t really been aware of before but having looked at the website it has an interesting range of products.

This blusher is called Desert Rose – if you take it from the packaging is a rosy pink shade, but when you open it up/swatch it, the shade is a corally/peachy shade.

I have to say, this is a *little bit* of a bug bear for me… when the packaging is so very different from the actual shade. Especially when the brand is an online one – the images on the website don’t truly represent the actual shades. So definitely one to google before you buy!

The packaging is pretty beefy – it has a mirror, the product and then another layer with the puffy applicator thingy (technical term…). I like how it keeps the different elements separate. So the applicator isn’t just sitting on top of the blusher product.
Whilst the shade doesn’t look like the product in the pan, the blusher is a pretty peachy shade with a subtle glow. It’s not a heavily pigmented blush but it’s buildable. This blusher isn’t cheap at £29.99 – it has to be up there with some of the most expensive blusher items I own. Yes, it’s a very pretty shade – but I can’t in all honesty say that I’d genuinely spend that much money on a single blusher!
