Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips

Yep, that’s right. Nipple balm.

But no, there are no boob shots – don’t worry (or sorry to those who arrived here on a boob-related search). This is my latest hand-bag favourite for dealing with chapped lips. Somehow I managed to get through ten days of sunbathing without my lips getting dry and chapped, but almost immediately after arriving back to London… they went awful! Maybe that return flight, or the London weather or the seasons changing did it…whatever it was, this stuff has been my saviour.

This stuff is thick, but melts when warmed easily – so it doesn’t feel thick after being applied. But it does create a wonderfully protective coat over lips – so if they are so chapped they feel a bit sensitive then this is ideal. I find this lasts longer than the standard Vaseline and just does the job of making lips feel soft and looked after again.
I don’t love the scent of this product, it’s hard to put my finger on what it is  – but it doesn’t appeal to me. But because it works I really like it. Plus it’s apparently a make-up artist favourite for multi-tasking moisture/gloss effects…
It might not be glamorous, but nipple balm for lips…it works!
Available at Cult Beauty for £11 and also in Space NK.

Hehe..nipple balm. It does sound intriguing tho, and since you said it was multitasking, do you think you could use this on the body as well, like on elbows if they’ve gone dry in the winter?

Cant believe Im saying this but Im actually going to have to try this out. The fact that you said it puts a protective layer over your lips sounds like this could be just what i need for winter since I get really dry and chapped lips looool

Plus everytime I pull this out of my bag, I’ll have a story to tell

Epiphannie A: Had an epiphannie yet?
