My August JolieBox arrived on my desk this week – and I love this month’s box design, with pink lid and green base – very pretty. But it’s not really *all* about the box itself, but what’s in it….
So below is a peek at this month’s contents…
Apologies it’s not the clearest picture, but the August JolieBox contained:
Trio of Dr Bronner liquid soap samples
JolieBox ‘Cut by Fred’ leather hair tie
Paul Smith Dry Shampoo
So Susan ‘Wide Awake’ palette
So Susan Lip Cushion
Overall, there are a couple of interesting bits but I’m not totally blown away. As picky as this is going to sound, I don’t love that there are two items from one brand – as I like the aspect of discovery in a box, so it would be nice to have two items from two brands rather than two from the same one. But as I said, that is being picky and the two items are nice – they remind me of the brand Jelly Pong Pong and some of the products in that range.
The leather hair tie is an ok addition – I can’t help but feel it’s a bit of a filler item, but will come in handy! Tempted to wear as a bracelet instead of hair tie.
I think the Paul Smith Dry Shampoo is a good addition, always handy to have a little bottle of this around so happy with this one.
Overall, not my favourite JolieBox I’ve received but some nice bits in there! As always, that’s what a beauty box is about!
