Fig appears to be all the rage right now. I have a whole host of figgy scents to talk about with today’s being all about the Roger & Gallet version Fleur de Figuier. A new launch from them that adds to the overall Fleur d Figuier family (one that includes everything from hand cream to soap to perfume)
The whole idea/inspiration behind this fig based fragrance is “transporting you to the heart of the garden of Esterel in the south of France.” Combining the flower and the fruit – so together it makes a sweet but fresh combination.
Sweet but fresh is exactly how I would describe this scent. It’s light, but has a sweetness of the fig fruit to it too. I have never been to the gardens of Esterel so really can’t say if this is what it smells like, but if the gardens smell a bit like this perfume then it sounds like a pretty nice place to visit.
If you like the scent of Fig then you really have such a huge choice of perfumes as it’s definitely the ‘on trend’ scent of the Summer. I have a few more to share with you too, but thought I’d start with this one today. As far as the difference between them go, my nose isn’t probably experienced enough to say for sure – but this one is on the sweeter end of the scale to some of the others. So if you like the sweet/juicy smelling side of fig and a touch more floral than fresh then this is the one for you.
