I haven’t really done a huge amount of ‘gift guides’ on the blog this festive season. Mostly because the internet is flooded with them so I decided to skip them in favour of my usual blog posts plus the odd shout out to some gift ideas on social media. One that I thought I just had to shout out to on here though is the Jo Malone Christmas offerings – as these for me as the ideal ‘if in doubt’ present. Which is precisely the point we’re at in the buying routine – lacking in ideas or just at a loss for how to wow someone!? Well, without a doubt Jo Malone always impresses and the Christmas gift options are no exception.
This is just a little snap shot of some Christmas gift ideas you can pick up in stores now – all beautifully wrapped and pretty much ready to wow under the tree. At Christmas I very rarely get any beauty gifts at all now a-days as my family/friends are all convinced I have ‘enough’ beauty goodies. Which technically is true I guess, but the whole ‘beauty junkie’ thing in me means that there really never is such a thing as ‘enough’! Greedy little beauty lover that I am!
Jo Malone is almost always a place I turn to when I want to get something lovely but maybe at a bit of a loss as to what. I know my mum loves some of the fragrances so it’s one I feel confident will always go down a treat as the products are ones that just naturally have that ‘wow’ factor yet can be relied on to go down with even the trickiest of people!
Some of the gift sets are ideal if you’re stuck on which fragrance to opt for as they mix different products from different scents. As shown with the Bath and Body collection* (£48) it has an orange blossom body cream (50ml), blackberry and bay soap (50g) and lime basil and mandarin body oil (100ml) so a good selection of crowd pleasers if you’re not sure of which of the Jo Malone family would be the lucky persons fave.
There’s also a few lovely smaller gift options if you want the Jo Malone ‘wow’ without breaking the bank! They have a lovely little set of Jo Malone Bath Salt sachets* that are £30 – now this is hardly a budget present option but for Jo Malone this is the more affordable end of the spectrum. They come in the classic English Pear and Fresia fragrance option.
Also, if it’s a #merrykissmas (see what they did there) you’re having then a little stocking filler of the Jo Malone Lipbalm* makes a fancy change from a tube of Blistex for the winter! Again at £23 it’s on the Lowe end of the price bracket!
For me, the must-have this year would have to be the Pine & Eucalyptus candle. It smells so perfectly of Christmas it’s for sure top of my wish list.
