Woah. Where did January go? New Years resolutions forgotten maybe? Well, the good news is that it’s a new month, and a new week tomorrow. Which means it’s a pretty good excuse for a new start all over again. I have a few little personal changes kicking off as of Monday 1st February. Will chatter more about these maybe next week. But for this week… a few little updates and little chatty bits and bobs.
Last Saturday I spent the day in Florida… or as close to it as I could get in a little sunny feeling cabana in the main foyer of Westfield London where the Love Florida and Visit Kissimmee people were offering tropical pedicures for a little taste of Florida sunshine. Well, ever since I’ve been dreaming all things Disney World… and Florida sunshine… so there’s a good chance our holiday plans may be heading to the sunshine state.
On Friday I headed along with a lot of very excited beauty people to see the famous Mario Dedivanovic – or ‘Make Up By Mario’, also known as the King of Contour behind the chiselled make-up face of Kim Kardashian. He was doing a masterclass session to showcase the new range of contouring products from L’Oreal. I need to give these a whirl and share my thoughts but it was really great to see him do his thing. The two products that immediately caught my eye from the new range are a double ended brush and a trio of blusher…. will share thoughts soon.
Oh yes. I’ve been a Craig David fan since the early days so more than happy to see his revival happening. This week I got the chance to go and see him play live again this month thanks to Emporio Armani Diamonds. He was headlining one of the MTV Brand New gigs in Camden and Armani Diamonds sponsored the series of shows and offered me tickets. SUCH a good night – my only wish was that it wasn’t a Tuesday and I wasn’t doing dry January so I could have partied into the early hours with less guilt… If you get the chance to see him live DO IT – SO GOOD.
Listening to: Craig David… all day every day. Obsessed.
Eating: Everything I can get my hands on, especially if it has bread, pasta or cheese involved ahead of a big diet shake up in Feb.
Wearing: New heels from Zara – so good they deserve their own post.
Doing: Busy busy in London this week – from Craig David gigs to fun events with L’Oreal and Boots No7. More to come next week! Including one I am VERY excited about.
Mission for next week… Start and stick to my new diet shake up. No gluten and no dairy for me for the forseable future. Considering mac and cheese is my all time favourite this is going to be an interesting change!
