Eleanor’s #BootsMiniClub Wardrobe for Spring/Summer

Over the last year and a bit of being a mum I have learnt a thing or two about what to look for when purchasing new items of clothing for my daughter. Early on my number one priority was how cute the clothes were but as time and experience passes I realise that whilst cute-factor is still an important aspect, there’s also a number of other things I look for as I choose new outfits for Eleanor.

Boots Mini Club Denim Jacket

I first discovered the Boots Mini Club clothing range when I was in my local Boots store picking up some hospital bag essentials when I was pregnant. At that point I got drawn into browsing the adorable newborn clothing range and couldn’t resist picking out a few essentials, including a little white knitted cardigan which was one of the items I had in my hospital bag for her to wear on her first trip home.

Ever since then the Mini Club range has been a frequent addition to Eleanor’s day to day wardrobe, so I’m delighted to be working with them to show you some of their different collections for Spring/Summer 2019.

One of the things I love about the Boots Mini Club range is the all round practicality. From the fact you can pick it up along with other errands and essentials to the actual ‘real life’ functionality that’s been clearly considered in every step of the design. From poppers in all the right places to soft fabrics and well cut styles.

Oh and the all important parenting observation that they also wash well!

We’ve been putting a variety of the ranges that I picked out through their paces in a variety of day to day situations from a family holiday, to nursery days, playing in the park or family fun in the garden.

I’m so delighted with the pieces I picked out for her. In particular the lovely Fearne by Fearne Cotton range for Mini Club. The matching turquoise animal print jumper and jogger pairing is a favourite (p.s. Dear Fearne please could you launch this in an adult size too…). The Heritage range is full of more traditional baby girl pieces with floral prints and details like embroidery and pleating. For that range I chose a ditzy blue floral that’s just adorable. Now if only one of my friends or family could throw a special party this Summer then I’d have the perfect event for her to wear it to. Not that I need an excuse to get her dressed up. That’s the joy of it being such an affordable range is that you can really get the wear out of it without the feeling you need to ‘save for best’.

On top of the adorable outfits there’s also a huge range of Summer-perfect items. We particularly loved the all in one swimsuit and matching hat for our recent holiday. With SPF40, it means Ella was perfectly protected without the added need of wrestling with her to slather on suncream head to toe (of course I still covered the exposed spots) so she could splash around and play whilst knowing her skin was safe from the sun. Plus the hooded towel/cape was perfect for keeping her warm after a splash around.

All in all, I really highly recommend a browse of the Boots Mini Club range next time you’re in Boots. A practical, fun and affordable range of kids clothes to suit all the way from tiny baby to toddler and beyond.

The whole range is available to shop online and in stores across the country too (I’m lucky to have two really well stocked ones local to me)
