That holiday feeling – Palmer’s Coconut hair & body

Palmer's Coconut

Sometimes around this time of year I wonder if I should change my blog name to ‘coconut junkie in London’ as it feels as the weather gets warmer, my love of all things coconut-scented resurfaces along with holiday plans and Summery feelings.

If there’s a body and hair range that captures coconut in a way that has both the delicious scent but also a shed load of moisture then it’s Palmer’s. It was the coconut body range that was one of my original favourites with the brand and it’s actually only on working with them that I realised they have some fab matching hair care too.

On our recent little break to Marbella along with the gradual tan range also made sure to pack a few of the coconut favourites including the body and hair products. I took the handy travel sizes but they’re available in full size too so perfect for if you’re jetting off somewhere fab or if you’re staying home.

One of the hair products in particular has really blown me away! The Coconut Oil Deep Conditioning Protein Pack hair mask is INCREDIBLE. SO good for post-sun/beach/swim hair for a deep dose of moisture. Plus, added bonus is that it’s a really generous sachet so I easily get two doses out of it. Perfect for a week away for a mid-break pamper and for last night before you leave. Anything that perhaps helps boost your hair after the effects of holiday is a winner.

For more everyday moisture and hair care Palmer’s also have the Coconut Oil  hair range which includes a Shampoo and Conditioner. Loaded with coconut oil and Tahitian Monoï to hydrate they also leave hair feeling soft and well-conditioned but not overly weighed down.

To top off your hair care there’s also a smoothing Palmer’s Coconut Oil Hair Polisher Serum. A little of this goes a LONG way for just taming flyaways (or in my case a tuft of fluffy post-baby hair regrowth).

But my personal favourites from the Palmer’s Coconut Oil range just have to be the body care. They just smell great and feel amazing to use. I can’t get enough of the Coconut Sugar Body Scrub (think a really fine scrub that feels moisturising but really good at sloughing off that dead skin too) and the Coconut Oil Body Lotion. It feels richer in texture than most lotions, but still soaks right into skin. With that familiar coconut smell that’s sweet and summery without being overly so.

For that scent of Summer without needing to step foot on a plane then this is the dream. If I close my eyes REALLY tight then I might just be able to pretend I’m somewhere exotic…
