Ellis Faas Mascara: Review

I’ve gone on about my love of mascara in general before and this is my current love. When it comes to beautiful and sleek packaging you really can’t beat the stunning Ellis Faas – the mascara looks like a long silver bullet.
The wand is a fairly standard brush head, with fairly dense but short bristles that taper down so that it’s quite narrow. This makes it easy to get into the corners of the eyes. The formula of this is really impressive, I’ve been using for a month and it hasn’t gone thick and started to clump as some mascaras do as they dry out a little.

It delivers really defined but long lashes quickly and easily. You can see the difference in the ‘before and after’ shots above and below.

I haven’t experienced any flaking or fall out from this mascara at all and it’s been my daily favourite since first use.

It’s not a cheap mascara, at £20 but it really does have that luxury feel that’s makes justifying the cost that little bit easier…! What’s the max you would ever spend on a mascara?

Available at Liberty and Space NK.
