Only tentatively beauty related – but I wanted to share my latest obsession with you…Pinterest. Just in case you haven’t heard of it, Pinterest is a fab little website/kinda social network thing where you can collect any images from the Internet or photos you take and group them into boards.
I’ve been using it to collect images mainly of home decor inspiration as I’m pretty much obsessed with decorating at the moment. I live in a new build flat, so it’s fairly neutral/generic so I’m really keen to give it some personality so love collecting images that give me ideas and pictures of bits of furniture I want to buy.
I also like to ‘pin’ pictures of gorgeous beauty looks or fashion inspiration plus a few of general things and places I love or have on my lust list. Chances are I’ll also start pinning pictures of clothes or accessories I spot when shopping and want to buy – I already have a tendency to take pictures of stuff I want to buy, so might as well add them to my boards! Oh yeah, and I should also mention there’s an iPhone app that makes it even more addictive than it already is.
