New York Diary Day 2

So day two in New York (or first full day) and here are some pictures of what I’ve been upto… Including, but not necessarily in this order!

Mandatory Starbucks stop….

Equally mandatory Sephora stop…

I was a little over excited to see that the mega sets of mini Sephora-OPI were still in stock in one branch as they were a Christmas thing and I was sure they would have vanished by now. Also picked up a couple of sparkly large Sephora OPI colours and a mini Urban Decay make-up setting spray.

Dinner and cocktails at Gravy – azing food (and the cocktails were pretty tasty too)

Gramercy Park, gorgeously sunny day. It was freezing cold in the morning, but warm when the sun came out.

Amazing views from the top of the Rock, I’ve been up the Empire State Building every other time I’ve been to New York but totally recommend this instead, lines are smaller, views of everything – including the Empire State Building we’re amazing and nowhere near as crowded.

We went to the top of the Rock when I visited with school in July, you’re right, the views are amazing! Apart from anything else you can actually see the empire state building :p

Such an amazing view, I’d definitely choose it over the ESB any time!

Me too! I’m secretly hoping the snow might be so bad that we get stranded here!

FYI americans HATE starbucks. you’re not “cool” for touristing there. it’s like coming to america and HAVING to go to disneyland.

Definitely not trying to be cool, there’s one on every corner so pretty convenient rather than ‘cool’, they are all over London so not really ‘touristing’, just getting a drink!
