Watch Me Simmer

This is the lipstick from the Shop MAC Cook MAC collection that I received in my LFW goody bag. I was really excited when I saw this, as it was a colour I had my eye on – and not one I have something similar too already. It’s a tough one to describe, it’s part hot pink, pinky red… but it has something that tones it down and makes it a little bit coral… If that makes any sense.

But rather than try to describe it I might as well just show what it’s like!

The main colour difference between the hot pinky red in the tube is when on the lips, it takes on a slightly more coral tone to it. But still very pink. The formula of this is gorgeous, really pigmented (to the point it actually stains lips a little FYI) and feels very moisturising and creamy.

Wear-wise, I think this will come out to play a lot more as the weather gets better. I don’t wear lipstick all that often, but I am partial to a bright one when I do. Colour wise, I love this – so much that I’m considering purchasing a back up.

MAC Watch Me Simmer is available from the MAC website now (£13.50)

I’m usually very much a neutral girl but have gone through a but if a phase of loving bright lips recently! This is bright, but think it will be perfect for Summer!
