Apparently it’s meant to be Spring, the sun finally seemed to get the memo this week but the temperatures are struggling to keep up. Until then, I will get my new season boost from a bit of colour courtesy of this rather stunning lipstick from MAC… and not a subtle one at that!
This was a special re-launch, as voted for by fans/customers…the super bright pink was the most popular from a selection of previous limited edition shades and has now been brought back into the permanent range. And I couldn’t resist the insanely bright pink shade.
It is a matte formula, which means it’s a little on the drying side and doesn’t look great at the moment on me as my lips are chapped. But I’m hoping when I up the fake tan and have my lips a bit better looked after this will be an easy way to add a pop of colour to my normal grey/jeans combo for the new season.
What do you think about this bright shade? Too much or just enough?!

I love this colour, it almost looks just shy of neon so it’s perfect for spring and summer
Lovely shade! If you pop a bit of Carmex Mint on your lips it really works, I find the mint works better than the others as it seems to soothe chapped lips better (weird) Then after you have it on overnight, brush your lips with a toothbrush so it removes the dead skin, re-apply the carmex then

I really love this colour but it’s a little too bright for me, personally, to wear it haha. I prefer reds anyway instead of pinks, but I do think that the colour is amazing though!
