I used to think it was a bit silly to care about what your phone case looks like – it was a functional thing and I didn’t really want a diamond encrusted one or an animal shaped one (that was until I spotted the penguin shaped one…) but over time I’ve come to love how a case can add a bit of personality to a phone. Plus keeps it from scratching, and (in the case of these rubbery ones) makes it that little more ‘grippy’ in the hand = less chance of dropping!
The fickle part of me has a trio of phone cases on rotation now, so I can change it up whenever I feel like doing something different. With this one being the latest purchase – from a recent trip to Bicester Village. I spotted it in the Kate Spade store, loved the colour and design so decided to go for it. At £19 it wasn’t all that cheap, but I figured it’s cheaper than replacing the screen on a broken phone…
I also have my personalised case from Casetagram that I love but actually want to protect almost as much as the phone (I know…the irony…) so don’t want to use too much in case I scratch it. Plus I have another one that I have ready to post about shortly as think it makes a gorgeous little stocking filler for Christmas – so keep an eye out. But until then, my phone is adorned with this cutie from Kate Spade.
I also spotted some rather fab hot pink handbags when in there…sensible!? No…but do I want one anyway…. hell YES!
I picked this up at Bicester Village (although couldn’t find anything else I liked so this was my only purchase!)
