Miller Harris Tangerine Vert is one of the permanent fragrances from the brand – but for summer, three of the shades have been given a bit of a stylish ‘Symphony of Colours’ Summer Collection make-over and come in specially designed, limited edition bottles. But for the sake of the fact it’s a permanent one, I’m going to focus on the scent itself – as you can buy it any time.
The scent itself has a description of ‘Childhood memories of comforting sweet citrus fruits combine with a mature delight of fresh greenery’. This really does sum it up, it’s very fresh and Summery – with a lightness to it. It smells like sweet lemons with a touch of something fresh and green in there. The top notes of lemon, tangerine and grapefruit. Middle notes of geranium, orange blossom and marjoram and base notes of Oakmoss, Cedar and Musk.
I am a sucker for a fragrance with a bit of musk in there -I like how this note can really tone down the sweetness of a fragrance and give it a bit of an androgynous feel. I’m absolutely loving this as a day to day, light and refreshing Summer scent at the moment. The perfect pairing for a hot Summer city day.
