Sephora Shopping

So I posted about my Sephora Wishlist a few weeks ago, well – here’s a little peek at what made it into the shopping bag…  For some of these I’ll be doing proper reviews so this is more of just a little ‘show and tell’ of the bits I chose… and you can probably already spot that there’s quite a bit of a ‘gift set’ theme going on here. Why aren’t the gift sets we get in the UK as appealing as these!?

So the run down of the purchases:

Bite Beauty Lip Love Kit – with a mini Agave Lip Mask, Lip Scrub and Lip BB Cream.

Josie Maran Winter Wonders Kit – full with mini sizes including, Black Out Mascara, 100% Pure Argan Oil Light, Lip & Cheek Oil, Liquid Eyeshadow and Shimmer Argan Oil

Clean Mini Rollerball Set – I have a couple of these rollerball perfumes already and love them. The fragrances are all about being clean and fresh. My new favourite from this set (I already have Warm Cotton and Clean Shower Fresh)

NARS Virtual Domination Cheek Palette  – Ah, the palette of dreams from NARS. This is already doing the rounds but going to add my five cents to the mix.

Sephora Give Me More Lip Gift Set – This has so many lipsticks (mini sizes mostly, some full size) it deserves it’s own post. But you can have a peek at what was in it below for a first impressions idea. The picture below shows the products inside and how they have been grouped into colour families of reds, nudes, pinks and berries.

Kat Von D Lipstick Gift Set – A whole host of lipstick minis. Yes, I went a bit lip mad. These are adorable – little black studded packaging and gorgeous shades. These will be getting their own post soon too.

Kat Von D Eye Kit – A gift set with a mini version of the famous tattoo liner, plus mascara and another mini lipstick. Can’t wait to try these, especially the liner.

Sephora Glitter Polish Remover – Couldn’t resist the promise of easy glitter removal!

I also got a couple of samples as I’ve signed up for the beauty insider card – so I chose a mini Formula X Nail Polish and travel sized Kate Somerville Exfoliator to try.

As I write this I’m actually back in the US again – so any suggestions for other things I need to pick up welcome!

Looks very similar to my Sephora haul whilst in the US the other week! I agree – we also need a Sephora store and decent gift sets in the UK.

Hey, apparently if you get a cotton wall ball and put normal nail varnish remover, place it on your nail and wrap kitchen foil (aluminum foil) around it. Leave for 2-4 minutes and it’ll come away easier. I don’t know though, but you probably could find a more in-depth tutorial on Google…

      Hope I helped,
      Leah x

That’s interesting that the gift sets in the UK aren’t the same. You ended up with a really decent haul, though! I really would love to know how the glitter polish remover does, as I tend to never use glitter polish because it’s so stubborn to get off!
