Tiffany&Co Perfume & a little proposal story

For me there’s something about Tiffany&Co that goes hand in hand with Christmas. Not just because I dream of turquoise boxes under the tree, but because it takes me right back to Christmas 2012 and probably my most magical Christmas I’ve had as an adult!

2012 was the year that on Christmas morning, Ollie proposed. It was our first Christmas together and there on Christmas morning, just the two of us – me wearing a ridiculous festive outfit of red trousers, novelty jumper and Santa socks – he got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. Immediately I burst into happy tears (turns out that’s not just something they do in films!) and said yes! I’m such a sucker for a proposal story now that even writing this and I can feel myself welling up. Definitely one of my most special moments and memories. I just can’t believe it’s nearly five years ago already!

Obviously I would have sobbed and said yes just the same if he had proposed with a Haribo ring! But the fact that my gorgeous engagement ring was from Tiffany&Co gave it that little extra bit of special sparkle. For us it’s because it is a reminder of our first trip to New York where we spent some time escaping the freezing New York winter weather exploring the famous 5th Avenue store gawping at some of the sparkly creations on sale and just getting a bit of that Tiffany&Co experience! For me, Tiffany&Co definitely captures something very special! It doesn’t hurt that turquoise is my favourite colour too!

The exciting news for this year is that they’ve taken a bit of that Tiffany sparkle and managed to bottle it. The new Tiffany&Co Perfume for women launched earlier this year and it really does make a perfect Christmas gift.

All housed in the signature Tiffany turquoise and with a bottle that is just crying out to be on display. The fragrance itself is feminine without being overly floral or ‘girly’. With fresh citrus notes being the first thing you catch – mandarin orange, bergamot and lemon. It feels really light and wearable on first spritz.

Then it dries down to a sweeter, fruity & floral scent. With black currant, peach, rose and iris. My favourite touch is the base note of musk keeping it softer and in my opinion more modern.

The perfume is available from Debenhams and comes in 30ml, 50ml and 75ml versions. Starting from £52. There’s also a stunning ‘Skyline Version‘ available at Debenhams which comes in some special skyline-shaped packaging that frames the bottle.

This new perfume really is is the perfect way to capture that Tiffany&Co sparkle this Christmas.
