Simple minds….Simple skincare

Sometimes the simple things in life are the best things- this certainly applies to skin-care. I have been consistently impressed with the products I have tested from skin-care brand, Simple. Including their sun-protection range (which has some lovely after suns) but my most recent testing has been of the new Simple Kind to Skin Vital Vitamins range.

Due to my slight addiction to testing out every beauty or make-up product under the sun it is pretty important to have a simple but effective skincare routine or risk chemical overload and irritated skin.

The range includes a Pore Minimising Toning Cleanser, Nourishing Eye Make-Up Remover, and Vital Vitamin Day and Night Cream. I’m not really keen on the Nourishing Eye Make-Up Remover, although it does leave skin soft but it doesn’t remove eye make-up that well at all. The Cleansing Toner is refreshing, really nice after a long day out and about although not the most effective cleanser.

On the other hand, the two face creams are lovely. So simple, with no smell at all- the two creams do have distinctly different textures though, with the day cream being a lot lighter and the night cream richer (as you would expect). I find these are perfect for keeping my skin soft without any chemical irritations or sensitivity. I also tend to suffer from dry areas around the sides of my nose and since using these creams they have vanished.

Planning to stick to the Simple life as far as skin care is concerned (apart from the occasional test of course…)
