Estee Lauder Surreal Violet: FOTD/EOTD

As promised here is a FOTD using the Estee Lauder Surreal Violet eye shadow palette. This is on counters now.

I used the three shades swatched on the left in the image (darker purple, the pinky purple and the pale lilac as a highlight). The pale shade over the whole lid, the pinky purple up to the crease and then the darker purple on the left for a bit of definition. I do wish I had gone a bit heavier with the definition or put a bit some of the pinky purple under the eyes too – next time maybe.

Excuse the dressing gown – pre-work morning shot meant I wasn’t 100% ready!

What I used:

Face

Clinique Anti Blemish Foundation*
MAC Moisture Cover Concealer
YSL Touche Eclat*
Une Healthy Glow Mineral Powder (I need to do a review of this, love it and have hit pan – that rarely happens!)

Eyes

Estee Lauder Surreal Violet Palette*
Bourjois Glamour Sensitive Mascara (black)*
Benefit Bad Gal Liner (slightly smudged on top lash line)
Max Factor Lash Extension Mascara (bottom lashes only)

Cheeks

MAC Hang Loose Blush

Lips

Simple Lip Balm*

**The Small Print**

Hey thanks for the comment on my blog 🙂
In regards to learning photoshop, I used CS3 whilst at college and picked it up pretty quickly and now use CS4 and CS5. They’re all pretty similar really 🙂
