Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo and Conditioner: Review

I actually used this range for about two months at the end of 2010 but have been a bad blogger and taken a while to write about them.
In my defence, it was partly because it was only when I stopped using them that I realised how good for my hair they were. I have fine hair, that can easily be weighed down by products that are too heavy or silicone packed. This was something I was concerned about when starting out using these, but it wasn’t the case. They worked really well when it came to repairing my dry and damaged hair.
Whilst they didn’t leave my hair completely flat and lifeless, they did make it very silky – to the point where it can be a little hard to work with. Because of this I wouldn’t use them as an every day shampoo – if you have fine hair like me. I’d alternate them with other more volumising products but keep this as a nice pampering treat. It would be really great for anyone with dry hair.
But as a testament to how much I like this product – I have finished the bottle (I often tend to lose interest and move on to another product before that happens).
Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo & Conditioner are £2.65 each.

I used to use Dove Colour shampoo a lot and I love how thick & creamy it is 🙂 I have A LOT of hair and it never left it lank. Thanks for this review – I’ll definitely be getting this combo from Boots tomorrow! 🙂 x
