The Onesie *promise there’s a beauty link in there….

Yes, a very random heading for a beauty blog.  But I wanted to share the joys of a onesie (or adult sized babygrow) with you all and how it links to beauty stuff.

No, I have no idea why the woman above feels the need to stand like that either.

Anyway, back around Christmas time when it was blimmin’ freezing outside, I went to Primark and bought a onesie. In the words of the boyfriend it is ‘probably the least sexy thing I have ever seen you wear’ and I can’t really disagree, it’s not an attractive item of clothing.

BUT… it does have it’s benefits. If you have white sheets but are partial to a bit of fake tan – then it comes in very handy. Especially the versions with feet built in. You can slap on the darkest tinted tan you have and then sleep in your onesie, you are covered head to toe, so no muddy stains on the white sheets! Score.

I do know there are ‘tan sacs’ and all that out there, but personally I don’t want to sleep in a sack. I want to be comfortable and as un-attractive as these onesie-babies are, they are comfy and they don’t have any ‘tight’ bits that might rub off the tan and leave it looking uneven.

I can’t say this will work quite as well as nights get warmer as it will probably be too hot to sleep in – but if Primark could bring out a thinner version then that would be ideal!

Thats what I use mine for, fake tanning.

It is the sickest thing I own. My bf just stared and was like please take it off you look like a baby and it makes me feel like a pedo.

I feel like im trapped when I wear mine though. Like the feet get too tight when I sleep and I wake up panicking. Strange.

Oh I love it!! what a top tip. Quick you need to patent the low tog summer version!!

Haha, I do – definitely need to patent the lighter version 🙂

It really isn’t attractive – boyfriend hates mine, because it’s so un-attractive and if I’m wearing it, it also means I will be smelling of fake tan. Not a great combination!

I hated these as a baby and would continue to hate it as an adult lol. I don’t self tan though so that’s alright.
