Essence ‘You’re a heartbreaker’: NOTD

I spotted this polish back in August when I was on holiday is Spain, I can’t remember the name of the shop but it was a bit like a cheaper version of Sephora – very beauty and fragrance focused with everything from high end brands to cheap ones. Essence isn’t a brand you can really get in the UK (as far as I’m aware) and seems hard to find information from the website – the website is in English but the store locator only covers Germany, Austria and Switzerland…
But anyway, back to the polish – I loved this one as soon as I saw it, it’s a smoky blue-grey shade with a bit of a silver shimmer running through it.On  the nail it looks a little more grey than it does in the bottle. The nail pic shows two coats, which was all that was needed for it to go opaque. It applied really nicely and the polish has a nice wide/flat brush – also, it dried quickly. I did my nails before bed and managed to avoid getting those pesky sheet-marks on my nails.
My one complaint is that it chipped too easily, but then I can hardly expect perfection from a 1euro50 nail polish… this colour was part of a limited edition ’50’s girl reloaded’ collection, so I don’t know how easily available it would be now. But this has made me curious to track down more from Essence, it is a cheap and cheerful brand but there are some fab looking colours on the website.
Also, I like how the bottles are a bit similar to the Sephora OPI ones…although the lid feels much cheaper!
essence ‘You’re a heartbreaker’ was 1euro50 from a random shop in Spain, I’ve had a quick look online and can’t find other places to get it I’m afraid, but might be worth keeping an eye on ebay!

Bought by me!

That polish was my absolute favourite from the 50s girls relaoded TE and I’d guess that unless someone sells some on ebay, these are gone. That whole collection was extremely popular (I’m not sure how far behind the US are on trend edition releases, that may be a possibility).
But I know where to find the distribution info. The parent company for both essence and Catrice, cosnova, has it right on their website:
