NCLA nail wraps

This post is actually from a couple of week’s ago – any eagle-eyed instagram followers will no doubt recognise the picture at the bottom!

After being a bit hesitant about the first load of nail wraps that were released – you know the ones you needed a hair dryer for? I sort of lost interest. But the latest ones on the market (like the Sally Hansen ones I recently blogged about) are so much easier – basically as easy as stickers, no heat required and your nails are done – and you look like a nail art genius.

The designs from NCLA are what really caught my eye – I absolutely love these multi-coloured stripes. Bright and creative, but not in your face. I like how they are shaded to go darker at the edges too, adds a bit of edge to the design.

These wraps were pretty easy to use too – just peel, apply and file. The mainly fussy bit is figuring out which size fits the nail best. Something that gets much easier as you get used to using them.
These wraps have really brought my attention to Nail Couture LA – if you’re on Instagram (@shopncla) then follow them, they post some amazing pictures (they have some seriously fab nail wrap designs and nail colours – their and hifi stereo design from the ‘Summer of 69’ collection and the secession strikes designs are top of my wish list!)
NCLA is available in Harvey Nichols. For more info check the website.

I am currently sporting Sephora’s Chic Prints wraps – totally agree that the sizing is difficult but love this design on you… :O)

I’m awful at painting my nails neatly, so these wraps will be a great help.
