Next up in my series of Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick posts – this one is an amazing night time bright for Summer. Bright – an orange twist on the classic red lip!
The shade is just as creamy and lovely as the Hot Plum shade that was the first in the series. I would say they are both on a par in terms of pigmentation too – bright and strong, and can be built up if you want a really strong colour or blended with a balm to create a sheerer effect.
As I said at the start of this post this is the perfect Summer version of a classic red lip – the orange tone to it gives it something fresher for Summer months. Like coral is the perfect shade for daytime, this is the evening version (in my opinion – not a rule by any means!)
So that’s the second shade in the series – of five in total, three to go! Including a nude and two corally pink shades (one that’s beyond gorgeous)… stay tuned for more on these lip shades!
