Jack Wills Lipstick in Coral

I went on a little trip to Bicester village recently, and as I was left a little disappointed by the Mulberry store I tried to feed my retail craving with a couple of make-up purchases – including this little lipstick from Jack Wills.

It was only fairly recently that I even discovered that Jack Wills did make-up… and when I spotted this shade I knew immediately that I wanted it.

Overall I’m a bit on the fence about this lipstick – on one hand I adore the colour and think it’s perfect for Summer. But on the other hand I feel a bit disappointed with the formula as it applies a bit on the patchy side and can tend to highlight drier areas.
I think to be fair I can’t generally expect a brand known for making hoodies and preppy shirts to be equally good at make-up I guess. It’s not a bad lipstick by any means – I just had high hopes for it as I loved the colour in the bullet. I only paid £6 so not overly expensive really (this was outlet price rather than main store price).
Have you tried any of the other make-up from Jack Wills? Thoughts?

Bought by me.

I so love such shades, but they all stick to dry patches… This one doesn’t seem to make an exception, unfortunately… 🙁

I picked up a nail varnish last time I was in Bicester and was really impressed. This colour’s gorgeous, but it’s definitely the formula that makes or breaks a product for me. So many time’s I’ve bought a beautiful shade only to find it applies horribly and is virtually unwearable x

Lovely colour and I like the packaging too. Shame about the formula!
