Here’s a little speed-review of the Piz Buin Tan & Protect range that I took away to Spain with me at the beginning of the month. It might feel like Summer is well and truly over, but not everyone goes on holiday in the Summer! Plus this is the third range of tanning/sun care products I’ve tried over the last year or so, so feel in a pretty good position to review these.
The top thing I have to mention about this range is that unlike the others, with this one I didn’t go even slightly pink – even after days being in the sun for the majority of the time. As far as protection goes, I really can’t fault these one bit. Factor 30 was my preference – the 15 was the one my boyfriend went for and he really liked it too. He’s actually fussier than me when it comes to sun care and he loved how these absorb in quickly and didn’t leave him a greasy mess.
My one slight niggle with this is that it didn’t feel it gave me as much of a tanning boost as the Nivea or Boots version I have tried. But the sun protection benefits well outweigh the importance of getting a tan – it’s just a good bonus for a pale-skinned person like me!
Overall, for good protection – this range is great. But for a super-tanning boost, it’s not my first pick.
