Clutch £22.50 (on sale ASOS)
Necklace £10 (ASOS)
Grand total: £97.50

I was contacted by the people behind to see if I wanted to take part in a blogger challenge to create an outfit for a Christmas party for under £100 – all from one of the retailers they work with.
Since I’m pretty much the worlds biggest ASOS fan, that was an obvious pick for me and since I do love a good imaginary shop I decided to put together an outfit that I’d be more than happy to wear.
I chose the dress as the deep red colour is nice and festive and a change from the predictable black, the style of the dress means you can not freeze your bum off in the cold as your arms are covered and it’s not too tight in case you want to have that second portion of stuffing… I paired it with a few fairly simple accessories, all with a pop of gold to bring a bit of festive bling.
The boots I loved as they are simple, but with a bit of an evening edge – I’ll always pick boots over other shoe styles as just find them so much comfier and the last thing you want when on a night out is to be thinking of painful feet.
The clutch is one I’ve loved for ages, love the little gold horses studded all over and the tassel. It’s big enough to stash the essentials but not so big you look like you’re lugging Santa’s sack around with you…
Finally, I just added a simple gold statement necklace, I wanted something that would stand out, but not over power the red lace dress.
The final touch would have to be some false lashes, and a slick of some matching red lipstick and you’re good to go!

Love the choices, I have a similar dress from ASOS and it is very comfortable- you can fit some thick tights underneath too. Always a bonus!
