Something a little different on the blog today… fashion wise! I do love doing fashion posts but as much as I’d like to do them more often, life usually gets in the way. But I didn’t want that to stop me from talking about the best denim-related discovery I’ve made in years. This, my friends – is a little ode to Topshop Jamie jeans…
Obviously I’m not the first person to discover these, they’re from basically the biggest highstreet store in the UK. But as a previous Bazter devotee, I never thought you could tear me away. But on the suggestion of a friend, I looked at these and the other well-known Leigh style. I’m sure the Leigh ones are great, but they’re just too thin – you can’t *really* call them jeans then they’re not even proper denim.
But these, these I think are awesome. The denim is thick, but flexible – and they don’t loose their stretch at all over the day as you wear them. No saggy bums to be seen here!
The next thing I love is the higher waist – I’m never normally a fan of high waisted, but these are great. They make you feel so sucked in, so no muffin top on show – no feeling of wobbly bits.
Overall, these are the best jeans I’ve found and I love them. I tend to buy them a length longer than usual so they aren’t ankle grazer, but more sit at the right level. I’ve picked up three pairs (blue, grey-blue and black) since I bought my first in January. My one request to Topshop…I really would love it if they did a dark grey pair!
