Topshop Lip Crayons

Despite having a fairly decent collection of the Topshop Lipsticks, these are my first time with the Lip Crayons – in typical Topshop Beauty style, they have fab packaging with the same striped lid style as the lipstick range. These crayons are a creamy texture but easier to apply on the go, thanks to the thinner nib than a lipstick bullet – you can get more precision with these.

These three shades (L-R) are: Suspect, Clueless and Secret Party. My absolute favourite is definitely Clueless – it’s the perfect bright Barbie pink. I love it! It does have quite a matte finish, so good to give your lips a good scrub/moisturise before applying as any dryness will be clung to like a barnacle on a boat.

I’m also a fan of the sultry deep berry that is Suspect – I know we’re fast approaching Spring now so trying to get some good use of this one before pastels and brights take over. This was one of three colours I took to Paris with me…the deep shade seemed perfect for the stylish city!

Then we have the shimmering berry red, Secret Party. This is one I’m going to keep a hold of until next Christmas as feel the shimmer makes it perfect for party season. The ones with shimmer from the Lip Crayon range are ideal if you do have drier lips as it tends to hide imperfections a little better than the matte finish and feels slightly creamier.

What do you think of these lip crayons from Topshop make-up? I can’t decide if I prefer these to the lipsticks or vice versa… I’m on the fence at the moment!

I bought Secret Party around Christmas and it was perfect for the party season. I really wish Topshop had more colours of these, because I love the creamy-ness of Secret Party, but all the other colours which catch my eye tend to be drier.

Suspect is such a gorgeous colour. I haven’t tried any of the Topshop lip products yet but the colours looks gorgeous so I’ll need to make a point of getting a few to try! I always head straight to Boots for make up but I’m definitely missing out here lol xxx

I really like the shade suspect, think I’m going to get it and keep it to one side for next year! I really like the lipsticks in the form of crayons because I think they’re so much easier to use, but like you say, the formula of these is a little bit drying which is a shame!

I bought Topshop Secret Party around Christmas and haven’t really used it much. As gorgeous as the colour is I did find it a little drying but I may just give it another go with lots of lip balm.

    A lovely review!
