Space NK Treats

Space NK has some sort of magnetic appeal to any beauty obsessed girl (or guy) a whole shop, filled with beauty treasures…including some of the most lust-worthy brands out there (Laura Mercier, Nars, Kevin Aucoin, Hourglass….the list goes on).

Last pay day I made a little trip to the branch near my house – with one item in mind…

Of course in typical fashion it wasn’t just one item that I left with in the little black and white bag! The first item on my list was the Kevin Aucoin Creamy Glowin Liquifuchsia – a ridiculously bright pink shade that I adore. It looks terrifying but when applied delivers a really flattering wash of colour. I’ve also been using it dabbed on my lips for a complimentary colour match that’s easy to apply on the go.

Then as I was about to leave the store I also decided I wanted to take away this Drift Away Milk Soakin the small 150ml size – which is only £6, which is great for testing before buying a larger size. I had heard good things about this as a lovely pre-bed pampering treat and can happily confirm it’s worth the hype! It smells amazing and leaves skin feeling soft and lovely – and has a really relaxing effect. Lovely stuff and I’m definitely tempted by the larger size.

The one thing I also ummed and ahhed over is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder – I’m really tempted and think it will definitely be on my birthday wish list this year. I can’t decide which shade I am most tempted by but thinking Dim Light or Ethereal Light… but at £38 a pop I need to make sure I am 100% sure which shade I want to go for before I part with the cash!
