This has been sitting in my ‘to review’ file for ages – bad blogger! But when the range of three new body lotion sprays from Vaseline launched I picked one up straight away. Deciding to go for the ‘cocoa-radiant’ variant over the original or aloe ones as decided I wanted the richest option out there for my dry skin.
On using the spray it was love at first spritz – the mist is fine, lightly but effectively coats the skin and leaves it moisturised and pretty much ready to go. I did tend to have a little bit of an all-over ‘rub in’ – just to make sure it wasn’t going to soak into my clothes instead of my skin but that’s probably just me – most people would be fine.
The only downsides to this being that I found it ran out quite quickly, maybe I just have exceptionally dry skin but I did find I used quite a lot of product each time and the can started to feel a bit light quite quickly.
The other downside is that after a few used the spray tended to get a little bit less fine and light, like the nozzle had become a little clogged up – it didn’t make it un-usable by any means. Just meant I had to pay a little more attention as it wasn’t spraying out so evenly (which meant more need for rubbing in). But overall, I do really like this product – it’s a nice simple idea that I’m a bit surprised hasn’t been done before!
