Kiehl’s Hydro Plumping Serum

Ok, so the technical name is *deep breath* Kiehl’s Hydro Plumping Re-Texturising Serum Concentrate… but for ease of typing I’m going to call it Kiehl’s Hydro Plumping Serum. This, my friends – is a dry-skinned person’s dream serum.

This serum is one that I knew I would like on first use – it’s so light feeling, on application it almost feels like it turns to water. Which personally, is what I want from a serum – I don’t want heavy layers – I want something that will work, but will also feel next to invisible under whatever other skincare or make-up I apply over it. My dehydrated skin absolutely loves this and drinks it up – yet, despite the fact it does this I still find just a few pumps are plenty to hydrate the face and leave it feeling refreshed.

It does also promise to re-texturise, but I wouldn’t really be able to comment on that – what I can say is that it really does hydrate and as a result the smoothness/’finish’ of the skin looks improved. So if this counts, then yes – it re-texturises too. In terms of similar products, not necessarily texture wise but results wise this makes me think about Hydraluron – it has that same sort of effect, but with a lighter texture of product (less jelly like, more gel…)
