My skin has gone a bit crazy lately. I blame a combination of not so great diet, hormones and a little dash of stress. Whatever the cause, I want to get it fixed and pronto. So I pulled out this trio out to help get it back in shape. These are all from the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix range – the sister (more affordable) Rodial range.
All three are designed to give skin a good chemical exfoliation, but leaving it hydrated thanks to added hyularonic acid. A dream combo for someone who needs to shift congestion but not strip skin of moisture.
The three products are the Glycolic Exfoliating Pads, Gylcolic Instant Fix Mask and the Gylcolic Scrub Fix. All three are a bit of a godsend if you have tired skin, maybe after a late night or a touch too much celebrating… they give a bit of an instant fix to skin leaving it feeling refreshed but not stripped.
I’m always one to choose a favourite and from these three for me it’s the Glycolic Fix Pads – they’re the quickest and easiest to use and instantly leave skin feeling good. Like a splash of cold water for the face. Then I like the mask – a quick one but that little bit longer than just a sweep of the pads.
The scrub is good if you prefer a ‘proper’ scrub where it instantly feels like it’s manually getting the dead skin and congestion off.
The best thing about Nip+Fab is that the range is basically a pared down version of Rodial equivalents. Using slightly fewer active ingredients but still a bunch of the stuff that makes them effective. Meaning they do a good job and are more affordable than the more pricey counterparts. Whilst I do like good skincare, when I can get something closely similar for a reasonable price I’ll always opt for it over the more spendy options.
