G is for ghd

Ok, so ignore the fact that I’ve temporarily skipped F… and I’m jumping straight to G in my beauty A-Z alphabetical run down. It’s been a little while since I’ve added a new beauty A-Z entry – basically because I’ve been a tad blank on the brand to include for F… so rather than holding proceedings up further I thought I’d jump straight to a one of my longest standing favourite brands – ghd. With a little look at the gorgeous ghd Rose Gold Gift set for the G is for ghd instalment.

Did you know, ghd isn’t just a brand name in itself – it actually stands for Good Hair Day. Which is pretty simple way to sum up what the brand is all about. Good hair days. Way back in 2002 for Christmas I got my first pair of god straighteners – or stylers as they like to call them now.

Best thing about ghd is that whilst they really are as worth the investment – they cost a lot up front but man do those babies last. The original pair I had were going strong for about 10 years. Now, along with the classic the brand has branched out to include a whole host of different versions in basically every colour under the rainbow. With the most recent being a rather awesome Rose Gold.

So you thought you had all the rose gold there is to have? Well, nope. This is a very pretty addition to any beauty kit – plus the total bonus being that this one is part of a set with matching hair dryer.IMG_7961

Having tried a whole host of styling tools I can totally say that the god styler is my number one beyond just a classic hair dryer. I can smooth, curl and straighten with it. Once you master curling with these it makes all sorts of hair styles so much quicker and easier when they heat up so easily.

Have you tried god stylers before? Worth the splurge? Whilst this is a colourful version of the classic styler – they also of course have the curler versions (which I haven’t played with myself but had my hair styled in a salon with them and loved the finish) plus they now have the premium versions including the Platinum (more on this soon).

Next up on the beauty A-Z … H… and suggestions or recommendations for H?!

I literally could not live without my GHD straighteners. 100% worth the splurge. I’d love to try the hairdryer if the straighteners are anything to go by! The Rose Gold is a lovely choice of colour.

This set is stunning – wish I needed a new hair dryer and straighteners so I could splurge out on this set!

I love the rose gold and black combo it’s so stunning, i wish i needed both than I would so get it. I’m still debating on switching my chi for a GHD I’ve heard so many good things about it, but don’t think I can part ways with my CHI.
