The Breakfast Club – Angel

Breakfast is undoubtedly the best meal of the day to me. There’s basically no more of a sure-fire way to get me to say yes to something than via breakfast. The lure of eggs or pancakes is enough to get me salivating already. So a meeting at The Breakfast Club is basically my favourite thing. I would of course always recommend the Angel branch over Soho, purely based on time spent waiting for a table is less (on a weekday at least, weekends it’s just as bad…don’t arrive too hungry).

Menu wise, you can pretty much do no wrong. Eggs Benedict was my latest breakfast of choice, but have also had the Chorizo Hashbrowns take some serious willpower to resist.  As does anything offering pancakes. In fact, just reading it now makes me want to throw on my trainers and head over there for a big old plate of The All American.

Basically, if you like breakfast then this is the place for you. Seems somewhat obvious from the name, but it is true. Just be careful to avoid disappointment on weekends when it’s mega busy and you will easily be waiting 20 plus mins for a table at times. I think once we waited nearly an hour (it was one of those times where you wait so long you just have to wait it out as you know if you left after waiting so long they would have called you at that moment…).

Also, totally recommend the milkshakes and iced tea – both delicious.

Basically, a great place to go. If there’s a line, you can always head around the corner to Bills too…!

When I was last in London I walked past one of these in Canary Wharf and it looked amazing! We had already been for breakfast so I was gutted but judging this post I will 100% be going here next time
